Michael R. Branum

An immigrant from the deep South, Mike has lived and worked in Arizona, Colorado, North Carolina, Alaska, and Nevada before landing in southwestern Utah. Mike spent most of his adult life in the public safety field serving as a firefighter, paramedic, and fire chief before going to law school. Mike has been a registered nurse for over twenty years primarily providing care in the emergency setting. Mike is currently practicing in behavioral health working with adolescent clients.

At BFG, Mike focuses on family law matters. In addition to family law practice, Mike has prior practice in criminal defense, criminal prosecution, and municipal law and is a trained mediator.

When not working, Mike enjoys acting as a wedding officiant and spending time with his wife and their two energetic Pomeranian's, usually watching true crime TV, Deadliest Catch, or Skinwalker Ranch.
